Security lock for the Booth-3D FDM Printing

The prevailing difficult and uncertain market situation is causing many companies to look for quick and cheap solutions that can be applied to their products.

We belive that 3D FDM printing can be an answer to this problem.

Our client took advantage of this opportunity and decided to commission us to create a lock to secure the booth. The purpose of our work was to redesign the geometry of the part to be simpler and cheaper to produce.

From the wide range of available materials, PETG and ASA were finally considered so that the printed piece would be able to protect the booth from possible theft attempts!

After testing and analyzing all the pros and cons, PETG was finally chosen as the material for the production of this detail.
